Tea is quiet, predictable, and tame. Stash on the other hand…
Well, we’re a little unhinged. And we’ve always been.
The Stash Tea Company is a privately-held company headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. Founded in 1972, Stash Tea originally operated out of an old Portland Victorian style house, supplying loose herbal teas and bulk herbs to natural food stores. Starting in 1975, the company broadened its focus to include bagged teas and then began to sell a full line of traditional, specialty blend and herbal teas directly to fine restaurants and through a mail order catalog to consumers. Today,Stash Tea is one of the largest specialty tea companies in the United States, with products available through foodservice, grocery stores, tea and coffee shops, club stores, mass merchandisers, natural foods stores, mail order and the Internet. StashTea is also available in Canada and in several other coutries. Core Beliefs

STASH, a tea company set on combining flavors in ways no one has before
Did you know that in STASH every element that steeps in your cup of Stash Tea, including the tea bag and string, is Non-GMO Project Verified and compostable?
STASH source only GMO-free ingredients and materials, ensuring a safe and healthy product for you and the environment.
STASH concern goes beyond our main ingredients. While tea, herbs, and spices are not genetically modified plants, some of the other ingredients we use in our blends, like natural flavors, have sub-ingredients derived from potentially GMO sources. You can sip easy knowing that every component is free of GMOs.
No, Stash isn’t a bag
It’s a little bag of crazy.
And it’s about time we show it.
Popular tea packaging is often composed of plastic that originates from GMO-corn. Our tea bags are free of plastics and made from sustainable, unbleached natural fiber and GMO-free cotton string.
